Episode 207: “New in 2001” aka Henry Gets SHOT

Sometimes in life, things don’t go your way. It’s frustrating, but that’s just how it shakes out. You do everything you can to make your vision come true by posting hateful things to twitter and arguing with your family on facebook, but these things can’t and won’t change the outcome of the presidential election. What are you to do? You have no options other than to calmly move on with your life, go to to work like you do every day, and come home to your family and watch your favorite Quibi shows on Roku with ads. Or maybe you’re into gaming and you boot up the Bethesda/Machine Games new Indiana Jones video game. But whatever you do, don’t storm the capitol with the intention of hurting anyone or overthrowing the government. Don’t do that. It won’t solve anything and the FBI will track you down and arrest you. People will laugh at you. So just sit down and let’s watch some Golden Arm on Roku with ads, shall we?

Episode 206: A New Year’s Bean Dad

We recorded this episode on Tuesday evening, before the events that took place in the Capital happened on Wednesday. In light of said events, we’ll keep this brief, but it’s a new year and another chance to discuss self-improvement. What promises will we make ourselves only to fall short of our own expectations mere days later? Also, what’s a bean dad? We have everything, minus anything relevant to the Georgia election, the Capital Riot, and the general state of the nation right now, right here on Zero Credit(s).

Episode 205: Best/Worst 2020

It’s here, the last episode of 2020 and it’s time to render judgement unto the year and punish it for all its various crimes. Movies, television, and video games are the opening salvo before we dive into the wide world of listener suggestions. Will 2020 stand the test of time, or will it fall by the wayside and be forgotten forever? We hope it’s the latter, but the data’s what decides! Happy holidays and see you all next year in the grand future of 2021, where everything will be better???

Episode 204: Disney Marvels at All This Zack Snyder News

Look, it can no longer be denied. Zack Snyder is going to save cinema with his cut of Justice League. We all thought it was going to be Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, but that film was a false prophet that dragged cinema down into the dirt. Only Zack Snyder can pull off the movie event of the decade, neigh, the century to singlehandedly save the movie going experience. But no story is complete without a villain, an antagonist to stand in the way of our intrepid hero. Enter Disney, a media conglomerate that owns more properties than a Monopoly board. Disney is raising an army of quality content slated to come out in the next year to three years. Can the Snyder Cut stand up in the face of so much evil? Only time will tell, dear friends. Only time will tell.

Episode 203: I Hope (the Monoliths are Coming)

It’s December now and that can only mean one thing: more monolith related news. That’s right, you thought we left this all behind in November? You were wrong. Something is happening across the world. Something to deal with monoliths. Find out what’s happening before it’s too late by listening to this episode and you may have a chance for whatever’s to come. Then Henry reads song lyrics to John for about an hour straight, which is pretty good, too. This is the December of our content. We hope you enjoy it.

Episode 202: The Incredible Houk

John’s back and the world breathes out a sigh of relief since that means Jeff won’t even come close to ruining this episode. Thank god, right? Isn’t Jeff the worst? I hope he reads this. We get right into it with some topics I don’t remember but we eventually start talking about the upcoming sequel to Bloodshot starring Vin Diesel. Look, it’s Thanksgiving and I’m full of Turkey, so I’m gonna wrap this up. Thanks for listening to Zero Credit(s) and happy Thanksgiving!

Episode 201: I Bet You’re Wondering Why I Asked You On (Featuring Jeff)

It’s the brand new start of a fresh season here on Zero Credit(s) and Henry has brought on good ole friend-of-the-podcast and good-close-personal-friend Jeff to kick things off with excitement and expert knowledge. That’s right, the Zero Credit(s) resident expert Jeff makes a guest appearance to walk Henry through the perils and joys of home ownership now that Henry has traded a Victorian Manor for a present day home (see episode 200). Jeff serves double duty as the Zero Credit(s) resident expert on all things Zack Snyder and drops some of those killer deets about the brand new trailer for The Snyder Cut released that very same day. You’ll never believe who the one true Snyder replaced the main villain of Justice League with, but Jeff knows it all. It’s all here on this week of Season 5 Zero Credit(s).

Episode 200: The End of the Time Thing

After a month of hopping through time at the behest of the Zeitgeists, those perky time ghosts of old, the Zero Credit(s) boys are finally back together in the Victorian Manor they call home. With a special guest appearance of the official Zero Credit(s) Boy on the Street, we have a pretty retrospective episode about where the boys have been, how they used to be, and of course, laughing about the demise of Quibi, may it rest in peace. It’s the 200th episode of Zero Credit(s) and boy do we have plans for you.

Episode 199A: The Moon’s Appropriately Wet

The journey is finally over, we’re finally back in the present day. That’s right, it’s October 31st, 2020 and Henry and Jamie are ready to hit the cultural zeitgeist hard with some quick facts about the moon. Fact #1: It’s wet. Everything is perfectly alright with this episode of the Zero Credit(s) Podcast With Henry and Jamie. In fact, Fact #2: Henry doesn’t freak out about his memories of what he refers to as an “alternate timeline” at all. Nuh-uh, that does not happen in the slightest. We’re all normal here and totally did not witness what could only be described as a “time portal” opened by “several ghosts” suck Henry’s body through it only to deposit a separate Henry who had no recollection of what had happened to him.

…It’s all here? On Zero Credit(s)!

Episode 199.Supplemental Reading: Fast Five 2

In 2011, a man had a dream. A dream to create the best action/car/heist movie of all time set in Brazil, using an already established franchise and characters people already knew. Unfortunately, Hannah Barbara would not give up the rights to Speed Buggy, so Justin Lin had to fall back to The Fast and Furious Franchise instead. For fun, he brought along Chris Morgan, writer of the previous film, for a lark and knocked the entire movie out of the park. It’s all here.

Then, in 2018, two men thrown through time found a chance to rewatch that move again for the first time. They were supposed to be fixing the time stream, but…, well, who’s to say what they were and weren’t supposed to do. The instructions were unclear. All this talk of mattresses got confusing. But here were are. In 2018. Again. What a ride.
